mk3 fiesta 1.1 makin a horrible knockin noise after 3000 rpm anyone help?? also when idling oil light is on but when little throttle is applied it turns off.....thanks

Got enough oil in it? Either a knackered oil pump or a generally worn out engine. You can get these engines for nothing these days and wouldn't take a mechanic much more than half a day to change so probably the best option!

oil light coming on at idle then going off when you rev it would suggest oil pump problem.

basically, cheapest option would be to swap the engine
