Default Bleeding Brakes??

What is the normal procedure for bleeding all 4 calipers on a sierra? I`ve just had all the calipers and pipes off and need to do the whole system. Just looking for some guidance really, and have a couple of questions...

Do i have to have the ignition on for the ABS Pump?
Do i bleed them in any certain order?

Cheers, Ed.

with the ford workshop manual it says start at the front right and then front left then switch ignition to position 2.. open rear bleed nipple on right caliper press brake pedal half travel and alow to flow fluid for 15 seconds or more making sure clean fluid and no air, let the pump turn off and repeat the above for the right caliper.. let pump finish and then turn ignition off.

So start closest to the resevior

On every car I start at the closest to the reservoir, because I'm too lazy to walk far ha ha!!
It seems to do the job ok though.
