Default wheels when buying a car

I'm goin to be getting rid of my daily driver shortly and the wheels could do with a refurb i was thinking of doing them black but do you think this would put off potential buyer?

in short would you be put off a car if the standard alloys had been painted black?

Picture of the car/wheels needed because some will look good and some will look council with the wheels painted black.

Might be cheaper and easier but it may put people off. Some people see something non standard and think it's the spawn of Satan himself

It would look shit with black wheels so i'd say it'd put prospective buyers off.

Hi mate,

Please keep the alloy's standard silver, I bought a set of MP3 alloys off Ebay for Ł100 for my focus that were tatty and paid to have all 4 wheels refurbed to Fords original colour.

Now they are absolutely spot on, here is a pic:

I used this company:

I agree, as long as they aren't totally fucked then leave them alone. Its almost 10 years old so I think any prospective buyer would expect a bit of marking to the wheels!

Good call on the plates too, they look shit.
