Default cossie operating temp & pressures

Im setting up my defi gauges tomorrow and need to know the ideal running temps and pressures..

I know each cars pressures will be diffent but I need to set warnings for oil pressure and fuel pressure so whats the norm?

Also what operating temps for water & oil?

and whats the safe temp before giving it some? about 80 deg for oil?

water 88 degrees on almost any car if it has a std thermostat? fuel pressure will change from 2 bar to 4 or 5 depending on load, oil temp will be a little (10 deg) higher than coolant temp, not sure about pressure on your engine

Fuel pressure will be

Low alarm - a bit below your base pressure

High alarm - your base pressure plus your boost pressure, plus a bit lol

its a pointless alarm as you need a low alarm when the pressure is high in boost, not possible, unless the gauge measures rpm and boost pressure and does a calculation. An AFR gauge is a much more accurate way of seeing if the fuel pressure is substandard

Agreed but would not call it useless. If your car won't start and you can see its not building fuel pressure then that would be very valuable information

I see yours too, maybe I'm being a bit finnacy

I remember someone ages ago their car was running well lean all of a sudden, took them ages to find out why, and it was the fuel pressure regulator!
