Last pic I seen of a converted car the rear wheels were offset/off centre of the opening/rear wheel well and looked wank. Poor castor?

it's been done been talking to guy who had is concerned and to do it right I.e to make more power it's a 30k+ job incl engine work to 550 bhp the diffs are not up to the job and news updating you need a diff controller ECT in the grand scheme of things it's really not worth it might aswel get a mk4 as tuners are getting 600 from these now

I agree with Jay...why build what you can buy although I think the MK3 is probably the better looking car.

I actually meant the MK2 looks better, I got my shapes mixed up

I would of had a mk2 if it was 4WD but not for 30k to make it 4WD

Mk3 is a let down IMO and wouldn't buy one, mk2 has the looks and engine just not the drive train. Shame really.

I have several of them to compare and they are and feel very unstable in my experience you have to very careful with them. I admit you have drive it very hard to scare yourself but as far as the 4x4 system is concerned the evo 7 system is far better up to the job and that's dated now plus once you get over the 0-60 time there not are all quick my stage 2 mk2 dicks all over a mountune 375 on motorways . Tbh I 4x4 the mk2 is like a 4x4 cossie they will all handle like a sack of shit free falling down a ski slope lol.

a wise man told me once if you want a fast fast car buy on a this is the perfect example
