fuel consumption problem sierra cossy stage 3
 
i have problem with my msd stage 3 sierra cosworth
it run 24-25 psi, it runs ok but fuel consumption is very high
i drive the car only sport and on boost and the fuel consumption is around 11,3 -9,42
the car isnt smoke black and runs sweat but fuel consumption is problem

Its a perrformance turbo car so will use fuel to make power..LOL

Drive it carefully not using any more boost than 5 psi and moving the throttle very slowly and you will be amazed at the saving.

Extra fuel is used on turbo cars to keep the cylinder temps under control and also, every rapid movement of the throttle or sudden boost rise will add 30 to 60% fuel for a short time !!

how much is a litre of fuel in bulgaria anyways? if its cheap enough, then dont let it worry you.;-)

1litre in bulgaria is 1 pound as money, so it is very expensive
my month wage is 340 british pound
i sell my cossy stage 3 for 3000evro and there is noobody to buy it

Are you running closed loop?
If not, it may be worth speaking to MSD about it, it made a massive difference on mine when driving normally, i could get up to 37mpg on a run and that was on a T38, approximately 380-400bhp.

Has the car always returned this fuel consumption or is this a recent drop? Can you be sure the fuel you are using is of good quality? A service may be a help a little, check tire pressures etc?
