Default HTC Desire HD deals

I'm due an upgrade on orange and they have offered me a free desire hd, 500 mins, unlimited texts and 512mb of internet for £35 a month. Does this sound about right or can I get a better deal somewhere else?

Also, who has one of these phones and what are they like? What other options do I have? I don't want an iphone or galaxy s

thing with these phones is the fact they are constantly connected to the internet because of email accounts and all

youll use 512mb in about a week or 2, n then its a fiver a gig if i remember rightly (on vodafone anyway)

depending how long you have been with them and how many phones youve had, try and blag them to add unlimited internet, and if not a few gig at least, and if they say no, just threaten to move to another network, they'll soon change there mind

as for the desire HD, like zippyobrien said, its no iphone, but htc at up there with some excellent phones at the minute that offer everything you really need in a phone and more

Thanks lads, I'm gonna argue for unlimited interweb. My mate owns a 3gs and reckons the desire is a much better phone. I would say the iphone 4 is pretty much untouchable but I just can't warrant the cost of it, plus every cunt has an iphone

Really rate my Desire HD it's been superb and the best bit about it is the fact that it isn't a fucking i-phone . Works all the time, is easy to use and it can have the memory expanded as it uses micro SD card. Deal you've been offered isn't that great mate, T-Mobile for the same monthly outlay have given me 800 minutes, unlimited texts (fair use at 5000) and unlimited internet (fair use policy at 3Gb) and the phone was free Oo and they kindly delivered it to me a week before the handset was actually released

I bought the standard HTC Desire. At the time, the desire HD was a lot dearer. I have just downloaded and installed the new Android 2.2 and now my standard Desire has full 720p camera, same as Desire HD....

Cracking phone though. People will obviously lean towards the Iphone, but with the new android software and current HTC sync, i can sync my itunes library with my Desire without issues.

My iphone has my Gmail account set to it so it automatically retrieves emails and it tells me if i have any updates on my apps etc, i always browse the net on it, maybe 10-15mins a day and also downloading the odd update or games, and ive never been told off by Three for exceeding the unlimited(fair usage policy) internet allowance...............

i can do the lot of that on my htc wildfire, and thats a worse phone than the desire! htc's are really up there next to the iphone i think, better in ways, worse in others, just basically like the xbox and ps3 argument that constantly go's on and on, the phones good aslong as it does what YOU want it too
