I think Russia would be a bad idea, and given all the recent corruption allegations I very much doubt it will happen in England now. Still reckon it's fixed, hope I'm proved wrong.

That part of the world NEEDS to host a World Cup at some stage sooner rather than later though. Massive market for football over there, but a shit standard of football. Hence all the clubs offering past-it mega stars huge money to spend their last couple of playing seasons over there to raise the profile of their domestic game.
