Default webcam,any info please

can anyone recommend a webcam/system for me please and maybe a link to them .my wife is working away and i want to setup some kind of webcam thing so the kids can talk to her at night .

any help appreciated

So is the wife taking the webcam with her or you having the webcam at home?

Just get two of them then and use skype, seems easiest option to me, although i dont know anything about the webcams themselves..

No mate, takes about 5 minutes if that.

I'm guessing you will need to set up two accounts one for each laptop but it seems to be the most popular way for people to keep in contact via the web.

Either that or MSN maybe?

Yeah that one looks fine, logitech normally make decent products and 3meg on a web cam should give a very clear picture for web caming. Should fit a laptop screen aswell.

By the way you can also use yahoo messenger for web cams aswell, so that's 3 choices you have

Hi James,

I use this one from argos very good http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/p...%3EWEBCAMS.htm

As Ginge and that say Skype is the best one I have found to use, you can also take snapshots using skype

Should be almost live in my experience depending on net speed and camera
