yep im organising a trip around france through the alps in to germany finishing at nurbergring
heres a basic map
the trip ive worked out is going to cost £1500-£2000, with have loads and loads of special photo opitunites where you wouldnt think monaco cannes alps etc etc, ive got a couple of people interested just wondering if anyone else would be interested this trip would be awesome if i can get the right amount of people

we do something similar every year, costs a lot less though,we steer clear of france as much as possible due to the tolls and end up spending circa 300 per person based on 2 people per car,its a great adventure

to keep costs down find normal roads that follow the autoroutes,as there are SOOOOO many tolls its just not funny,to drive through france one way on autoroutes costs more than a whole years car tax in the uk!its every few miles and annoying at best, have a good time, and dont speed too much as the french arent too forgiving

France motorway toll costs are ridiculously high... As a rule of thumb, about 5 euro Euro for every 100 kms of motorway...
If you do the trip, give me a shout and I might join in for the last part through Germany...

From experience, ferries to Dunkirk are cheaper than Dover.
Also, last time i booked one I did it right in the harbour, the evening before I actually went. Only cost 35 quid or so.
Guess it doesn't really pay off to book weeks or months in advance.

Should have put a date up to start off with
Few of use have choosen a date due to all of us doing our yearly trip to lemans.
We will be doing it again next year aswell which we could do earlier to maybe kick off the new show season and could finish up at pod
