i think theres more to it than meets the eye is his billet sump not also a strengthening griddle to suport the block and aid against twisting that on its own would cost a fair bit to cnc and they do that stuff in house

rainbird engines... european,norwegian and british rallycross champ next year is it??

Dream on Mike that pump alone is probably more than a complete Pace kit, even with the sexual favours you offer Harvey you wouldn't get one that cheap

there ios a john cross who owned autocross and now xsport racing did Dutch and European rally cross for over ten years and used mountune and blue sprint and they were around 30k but they never lasted a race , then he moves to Julian and paid over 40k for his engine and it held together and proved that good he won many heats and titles with his engines and when a car did a 0-60 in 1.9 secs only because first gear wasnt long enough to get there quicker id say in this day and age 52k is a good deal tbh

The Tibuc is closer to £5k.
Have people seen how much abuse those engines are put through?
The engine in Citoen with factory money behind it costs more.
As an example, a 2.0 Ford BDG/X on mechanical injection cost £28k-£32k.

As mike said circa £30k for that all in,my own engine cost the following
Management £2.5k
Inlet plenum with injectors and t/b £1.5k
cgi Nikasil linered block new £4.5k with machining
4 stage scavenge Dry sump kit £2k
grp a lightwieght crank £1k
Sienz wrc spec rods + bolts £700
Cosworth racing pistons £650
Brand new cast head bare £1200
All head components inc 1mm oversize valves etc + machining porting etc £1800
Cams + solid lifters and springs £1000
Custom t04 z turbo £1200
Tubular ex manifold £1000
Rs 200 evo w/g £600
Then you have all the gaskets pulleys,flywheel,clutch and of course build time and engine dyno on top of that!!!!
I know by the time mine was built and fitted in the engine bay it owed me £22k!!
The engine above has a girdle dry sump kit witch julian charges £4k for and sq6 is around £3.5k by the time it has a loom made for it iirc also the inlet is around £3k..
So yes i cant see why it could cost more than £30k...

i heard dorans fiestas are 200k all in built. some stupid amount of hours on the shell prep before you buy engines diffs boxes suspension etc
