it may be because there's a fault with the inductor on your driver.
my pin 21 won't work my stack rev counter, when i spoke to james @ msd he said it will be the inductor on your driver as pin 21 should work a stack rev counter.
so i will need to send my ecu to msd for them to repair the driver before i can get my secs monitor revs to work from pin 21

sounds like you have the same problem as its a comman fault

Sounds about right When I asked Stu he just told me the SECS monitor doesn't support the wasted spark, Simon told me the same. On Pin 21 it would work upto 3500rpm, then would read bollocks. Pin 21 would work my standard rev counter fine though

or well if yours works a standard rev counter its ok, mine won't work anything, so it needs repairing.
not sure if i should try pin 21 if the secs monitor does'nt support wasted spark.

has anyone one else tried this to see if it worked for them?
