As above people. Been offered 2 rs1600i's for a grand. Both are complete except one is missing the dash and 2 front seats. 1 is caspian blue and one is sunburst red. The blue one has rear end damage but is mint apart from that so I'm told and the red one need a full resto but has a strange history being on a c plate but it is the genuine car with all the history. I'm seriously thinking about buying them even tho the wife will have a fit but I'm away to Florida on Wednesday so I'm going to view them tommorow after work. I'm thinking about building one minter out of the 2 and selling of all the rest of the bits I won't need to recoup some cash. Is it worth the punt?
I think so but I need to convince the other half.

take the one back in need of resto -start stripping bits and declaring them as scrap and let her think your worried you will get your cash back.. then the other crashed one came up for scrap money and will save afortune and allow you to get it finished quicker..

she thinks you have done a good deal - you know you got a good deal, just not the one she thinks you did
