Its quite scary just how little knowledge you have of these from what youve wrote.
I wont even bother wasting my time to correct you but not one of the things youve listed are common faults with these and the crash test thing is bollox. They have a 4 star rating!!
If folk want to know what to look for, pop over to the Clio forum rather than believe crap like this

Mines been fine over winter, they are piss easy to work on and they are pretty sturdy... and where is this appauling reputation?
If you buy a well looked after one they go on for miles! Some on cliosport are well into their 100k miles and are still going strong.

^^Mines one of them. 130k on the clock now, bought from new coming up to 10 years ago.
Been a very reliable car and nothing petrol wise can match the performance vs mpg.
Plastics are a bit cheapish but hardly falling off and quality means weight anyway
