the only thing i know is, 2010 years ago, something big must have happened for the date to be set to 0/0/00, what that was we will probably never know 100% until time travel is aloud/invented, was it something world rulers came up with and made the bible and any other bible type book of the time see it as some magical event, i don't believe, but then something tells me maybe something did happen, and if mary was married why the hell was she still a virgin, and if the inn was full, travelodge would have had space!!!!

The tests were carried out on a 'repaired' section of the shroud, and there was a whole lot of oddness going on, so the carbon date tests are hugely unreliable.
I'm not for one second suggesting it is Jesus' shroud, but it is a very interesting relic.

You can believe that a man named Jesus existed without believing all the shit that comes along with the name.

Then influential people carried on preaching his crap, and time has focused, mutated and grossly exaggerated his story. This story was then taken 'as gospel' by billions of people, some added their own twist, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Im sure there was a person on whom some of the stories in the bible are loosely based who did a few cool party tricks to grab attention and then gave some good advice about being nice to each other, and was possibly deluded enough to think he was the direct son of god.
So to say he doesnt exist is daft, its just a massive exageration IMHO

Probably because it happened in Europe. We Europeans tend to ignore genocide when it doesn't involve our neighbours. It was also inexorably linked to a War with our country, at a time when we wanted reasons to hate the Nazis. Concentration camps and gas chambers allowed us to bomb them without guilt.

the most telling thing is that the one showing the face side of the body is about a foot longer than the other side and the lengths are all wrong for it to be due to shrinkage of the material, so it's thought that the bloke was hung "wrong" for the original face forward view and "correctly" for the backside image
plus things like the puncture wounds for his crucifixion are apparently in the wrong places according to the acknowledged sources
and it's around 500 years old max due o the matierial being older than the picture that's been put onto it, so that's a bit of a bummer
there was a big show on discovery about it, so it may still be available online somewhere

There are photographs, there are survivor statements, there are mass graves of people who died by gassing, there are even multiple statements from guards and prisoners who were either employed or forced (or a bit of both!) to run them.
I cant think of many things that have been more proved TBH
a simple goolgle search confirms this, jeez!

25th of december was a festival that involved drinking and giving presents (our idea of xmas) but in march there was a festival for the birth of jesus which was strictly religious. The church decided to merge the 2 and now they want to get rid of the drinking and commercialisation of christmas when that's what it originally was
