However, it does seem like society is slowly moving back to medieval times with all this public internet witch hunts taking place recently...

He deserves to die imo, but prison will protect him as that is the job of the staff, so little of the get back at people happens in prison in my experience, pity but there you go, if he got hurt he could sue the prison/gov for many thousands of pounds as well.

I've not read the article, the replies on here are enough to know that it would upset me... stuff like this makes me very, very angry and I would also not be thinking of consequences if that happened to me or one of my dogs.
