Apparently if you type this in on you 4.0/4.0.1 iPhone it jailbreaks it.

Anyone done this??

There's a source in Cydia that needs to be added to get mms and FaceTime working but apart from that everything else works perfect. If your unsure just google it. I wouldn't have an iPhone if it wasn't for jailbreaks.

i take it jailbreaking would bugger up the warranty on the iphone 4?

No because it can be restored back to factory settings if you get any problems

not if it has a fatal crash because the phone sometimes wont boot up properly, i think i will wait til my warranty has run out because these buggers are quite unstable!

mine had a massive crash and i'd only had it a day, it stuck on vibrate for a few hours which has probably caused permanent damage. i am half expecting it to go bang at some point.

If it does have a fatal crash just restore with it with itunes.
