snap on account can you set one up from home
 

as above the local guy to my work is a twat and wont come in due to a problem with a boss who used to work there so im wondering if its possible to setup an account from my house i dont expect them to visit me every week i will go meet him etc anyone in the trade

If your willing to travel to him, then why not go to him and set up an account?

first i was trying to find out if you can do that then will be a case of tracking my local guy down what i was getting at is does it matter if you dont do it through your work place

My snap on dealer comes to my house every 2 weeks

I believe the snap-on men can only set up account on vat registered premises for the credit side of things...though obviously you can buy anything for cash.A way round this is to let your snap-on dealer have your debit card number and get him to take a certain ammount every week and build up a balance with him...then buy tools as you need them.

But when i had my unit he still called at my house as that is where my account was set up

My dealer is the scarborough dealer but my unit was in pickering ( another dealers area ) but as i had a good thing going with him i wanted to keep him as my dealer and as he wasnt allowed in the other dealers area the only way was to set the account at my home addy and thats where he came to see me

I now have my workshop at home but that makes no odds as he called at home anyway

my garage isnt vat registered and my snap on guy comes in there every week
