i know fa about football but near my mums there used to be a late silver 4x4 saff. registration plate said kelly or something similar - david kelly - footballer... had rouse bits on it but no rouse badging...
David Kelly definitely had a silver Saff, I can vouch for that. Saw him in it many a time.

he later put it on ebay where paul north yorks bought it, as he owns all the RS500's these days. and then with the cash, jeebus bought clarksons escort cos and a mint chop chip cornetto.
on a very clear night, you can sometimes see him doing donuts in it on the moon.
the one he crashed into some old biddies garden when he was pissed, taking out the wall in the process, was defo an XR4X4, i remember the pics, its was a hatchback, and had the big metal 4x4 badges on the wings.
Knew I was right,I remember it being a hatch with the seven spoke alloys.also,Bruce grobbellar played for south Africa,think he might have got it muddled up with the everton and Wales keeper neville southall.

James Wade the dart player has got a few fords he rebuilds them himself hes doing a mk2 rs2000 now
He had a focus st500(sold it for a bently) and the escort is a mk1 and hes done fuck all with it(not even driven it) so far the lazy sod
but does like his ford's was ment to be getting a RS500 but changed his mind
