More like another thread to try and wind the England fans up to make themselves feel better 
It wasn't an amazing game, but it was much improved and there were a few good moments. A lot of the top teams have had an average start, so I think we have as good a chance as anyone.
Given the amount of talent in the England Squad, there's no reason why they couldn't get to the final really.
It just comes down to attitude, referee's, injuries, and a load of other random stuff we don't have much control over.
They've proved many times in the past that, on their day, they can beat anyone in the world, so they have the potential.
Personally I don't think we'll get there this time, but hey ho, beats sitting in Scotland stabbing voodoo dolls of England players and saying how shit they are

ok lads a win is a win and they played much better than last 2 games but it was still no where near a world cup winning performance especially considering the conbined talent they have

Is it me or are the two annoying things about this world cup are listening to the bitter fucking scottish and then the betting adverts on itv, quite honestly both could fuck right off and make it a better experiance for all

Spot which of the three things is unrealistic. Having a view is fine but when its predetermined no matter what England do then its bitter. I agree the commentators, especially papers can get carried away but most Scots are just hiding behind that, really they just pissed at watching us at the World cup all the time, instead of your own.

We are unbeaten despite two poor games and we played well today
Spain, Germany and Italy have had poor results too, Brazil struggled to beat the Koreans etc.....open your eyes bitter boy, we're through and theres some decent teams that arent or have lost a game.

I'll enjoy hammering the Scots shite efforts in the next qualifying campaign.

29mins into it, the commentator said something along the lines of "England are back in the race to win the world cup" or some utter bullshit.
Slovenia were PISS POOR, yet we were getting comments about how good England were.
Joe Cole came on late-ish and had 1 or 2 good balls in and he was quoted to have had "an excellent" game"
A 1-0 win over Slovenia is NOT a good result... Yet suddenly now the English media seem to think all is OK and the past 2 results/performances have been forgotten about?
England stuck it in the corner for the last 5minutes, against Slovenia!? That is embarrassing. Not the actions of a team capable of winning the world cup, are you not a bit scared of facing a real footballing team in the next round?

I'm only saying what i see, speaking from a non-english bias, which is where you lot are going wrong, and trying to stir it up a wee bit and get some views.
Don't consider myself 'bitter' or 'jealous' about England being at the WC at all, of course id love Scotland to be there too but even if they were i'd still be feeling the same about Englands efforts i rekon.
Germans looked twice the team England did tonight, you're gonna have to find a performance if you want to beat them. Then again, i think i'd love the LOLs watching Messi and Maradonna rip the hole out you more than big Bastian and Co doing it.

Also at the people going on about germany being just as bad... i think they have been watching the wrong team! they've had one slip up and 2 convincing wins imo! Compared to Englands; 1 win against a pish team, 1 draw against a pisher team and 1 draw against an average team. And only 2 goals scored.
If you all came back down to earth and realised things are not as rosey as you all think, i rekon the rest of the world might have a fairer view of you.
With any luck your hooligans will have a ruck after Germany horse you aswell... that'd be some buzz.
