What's the WORST car you've ever owned?
No science to this, just what car and why you hated it so much.I'm stuck between a mk3 golf gti,Porsche 924 and Peugeot 106 diesel. But I'll go for the pug as i lost £4200 on it as it went bang on the motorway with no warning and the warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on.It handled like it was on 500ft springs, had no power and the fuel gauge went from full to light on with even the mildest of cornering.it's only saving grace was awesome economy!!!Golf was crap due too 20 odd mpg at best, dodgy electrics,no performance whatsoever,924 fell to pieces all in one go basically with no prior warning and used to get beaten by 1.3 escorts and the like, which was very embarrassing!!!

53 plate Corsa with the 1.0 3 cylinder engine. Worse engine ever, so rough, total lack of power. Only had it a couple of weeks as I was selling it on, couldn't wait to get it gone. Horrible thing. Used to get over taken by lorries on dual carriageways if there was a hill, dropping a gear or 2 made no difference to the speed.

Punto mk2 1.2. Just the most gutless tinny piece of shit I've ever driven let alone owned... never stung me mechanically other than a HG just hated the thing.
Would never go near another one.

worst car was my first car that my boss sold me lol! a 1983 mk1 austin metro 1.0 in bright orange!
shit loads of rust needed sills floopans and new front wings and front valance welding in!
clutch went as soon as i passed my driving test going up a steep hill the clutch started to slip lol!
the rear brake wheel cylinders and brake shoes where in dangerously poor condition.
both rear trailing arm bushes where worn.
and the tracking was miles out and needed four tyres!
i could go on and on!
only paid £50 for it so not that bad!
got fed up with oil leaks and looking like a prick so gave it to my cousin for free and brought a citreon ax 1.1 much better but still not great! at that time i was paying £1,200 tpft on insurance so was the best i could afford.
best car?
its a toss up of these two!
v reg saxo vtr! loved her the car i aways wanted when i was at school but the dream turned into a nightmare! crap build quality and suprisingly it really did know how to rust quite well!
53 plate 3door focus 1.6 zetec! i own this car now and love it! my first ford and it wont be my last! after years of driveing peugeots and citreons its a breath of fresh air! just needs more power lol!

I suppose my first car- nova 1.2. Only because it was old and therefore rotten as hell underneath and things were starting to no longer work, heater for example!!!
Had bad luck with my mk6 escort cabby. Cost me £750 within the fist week of buying it from a bloody garage. (It was in Warrington, says it all. Dripped petrol after i filled it up and they wouldnt help me unless i drove it back up the motorway 30odd miles with fuel dripping out of the tank. A 'reputable' garage then fitted the wrong petrol tank and fucked the sender unit).
Car that cost me the most in repairs was my MR2. Most awkward thing to have work done on and everything is expensive!

Another one for punto here, im not sure what mark but it was a v-plate one, so pretty old shape then but it was crap in every way, when you floor it the engine got louder but you wasnt going any faster and it sounded so loud and awful even at low speeds, and it went round corners like a jelly on a bouncy castle, the brakes were shit.
And it was a mechanics courtesy car, so should have been a maintained example i drove..........

1984 Mini or the 206 GTi. The Mini had new sills, rear sub frame, rear floor pan, gearbox blew up, valve stems seals went, electrics were an annoyance, wheel cylinders didn't seem to last long, RUST! The 206 was a hateful HATEFUL car. Handling was average, engine was poor, rev counter stated 7000rpm at idle, trip computer played up, rattles, bangs, exhaust manifold port welds broke, engine mount broke in half, clutch judder on another level, seating position was hateful as were the seats themselves. Wanted to sell it after 2 days, sold within a month. Never to own another, ever

BMW 316i. completely gutless, and actually broke down more than my rs turbo!
Owned it for 2 years, it did 3 head gaskets, a gearbox, the back lights leaked, it would chew through rear wheel bearings and tyres like there was no 2moro. Avrage service was around £300 as the HT leads were £145 with its stupid "pulse sensor" clip add on.
Its not like it even got driven hard as it was only 1.6, couldnt even light up the rear wheel's, or wheel should i say with its lack of slip diff.
