just a thought but wouldn't a shield for the sensor be a better solution? there must be somewhere to attach one and it could be shaped to completely enclose the CPS and crank pulley. surely a better option than adding more electrical gubbins which still have the potential for failure.

Carbon fibre and home made is where it's at.

I know the bracket would need to be sturdy enough to stop any movement once fixed in position but what if that fixed position was say 10 deg out ?

10 degrees difference to your ignition timing then, which is more than likely going to kill your engine very quickly.

I was gonna buy it for a present for stu!
got in a bidding war (probably with the seller
)
Now he doesn't need it as he made the carbon ones... AND it wouldn't fit anyway!

Thanks for that, so if you know how many deg's you are out it can be compensated for in the standard L8 (probably MSD) map ?

I love this thread
All the clever peeps coming out of the woodwork (Chip, Si J, Wes), Lee being too kind again, Stu being a clever bastard, Mike being sarccy etc etc.
Threads like this have been missing from PF

Does the twin sensor bracket actually house 2 sensor side by side (together) or is it a seperate bracket which relocates the second sensor?
Need one of these regardless lol
