My mate sold him that when it was a standard black 1.6 car, he's had it painted a few different colours over the years and had more than a few different sets of wheels. the amount of money he has spent must be shocking

Im thinking of saleing my cab.
Yeah, it's had loads spent on it, and been through several incarnations, but bet he wants stupid money for it. Not really my type of thing as it definitely ain't a performance vehicle of any kind.

I guess other's don't understand why you would want to bling up the underbonnet of an old sierra with chrome, and spend thosands making it quicker as you could just go and spend that money on buying a faster car in the first place.

There's no difference in spending thousands doing something like this chap has done, or spending thousands doing something like Rod, or Martin, or Porkie did with the 3dr. It's all about spending thousands doing something that makes you happy - beit modifying a car to look good, or sound good, or be "bling" or modifying a car to go very fast, handle well, or whatever.
Horses for courses at the end of the day. If we all modified cars the same way, what would be the point?
