how can you say that ? what have you seen in the video that i didn't ?
I'm not syaing he is a driving god, I don't know the driver, but i think the car's back end went with out any warning,
This is a video of the full course from another car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAM0-I0R8GQ

The drivers are all amatures here in Malta but few of them drive really well when you take all the limitations we have. I am FORD fan and I hate to see that sierra hitting the wall. If you see the clip you see that the rear end just went out. lot's can be said about it and you can't compare it to the Lotus with Honda engine couse they have completly different setup, I mean the lotus is prepared for hill climb and the sierra is just an ordinary old Sierra cosworth with all the bits worn, so it can't make any more than it did. And driver if I think that is who he is ( an english guy that stays in Malta) he is an animal driver but the point of my fellow Compatriot was that FORDS are not good for hill climb!!! Was that? or I am mistaken?

Hi mate, I agree with what you said, and I too like fords alot, however posted this video just to show an crash and not to make fun of the driver of the car.
I then posted the lotus video so that people see the full course, and see how bad the corner is, I did not posted the lotus video to make a comparison between the cossy and lotus. As you said the lotus is not road legal and was prepared for hill climb racing.

from the video it looks like he actually came in too quick, realised it mid corner and braked, and then back end stepped out.
as if you look at the skid marks its from the front wheels not the back so he locked up basically mid corner.
so i personally think its driver error rather than the road.

Funny how people differ from country to country
Us brits love to see a crash and always look to blame
The Malta fellas are gutted to see a man smash his car and you dont hear any laughing etc
I think us brits need to learn a thing or two to be honest
Regards the crash , The road looks like glass to me , and you can see the driver tries to steer into it but there is no chance

sad to see! Looking at the pictures looks like he didn't have his harnesses as tight as they should be looking in pic 3 as he shouldn't be in the middle of the car!!
Reminds me of the crash at the performance ford track day at brands in 2008.
