Default Floor numbers stamped UPWARDS not DOWNWARDS

Pmsl you all should know that all Rs Cosworth range came stamped upwards and so much for you owning them for over 20 years you should know the answer. Any Rs Cosworth that is stamped downwards are Re shells or Ringers full stop. Ive owned Rs Cosworth since 1992 and have always had 1s that are stamped up, stamped down is a big no no for me & friends. The reason for the one's stamped downwards is, That No one could get the upside down stamps (Reverse stamps) to stamp the shells correctley whilst Ringing or Re shelling them, hence they get stamped down and dont look correct. My best Friend was head enginneer for Cosworth WRC for 7 years and i see more cars and engines that i would like to remember and all floors in the cars where stamped upwards. I have been involed with Rs Cosworth's for the last 19 years, Breaking them, Building them etc etc. So again anyone with a Rs Cosworth with chassie number stamped down needs there head testing big time.

Yet another plonka who knows nothing

I dont know why i am even bothering to reply realy , but ill humour you

The RSOC spent near 3 years trying to prove this issue , AND WE DID ,

We can prove they are up and down and can explain a very simple explanation as to why , BUT , dont ask me to as i realy can not be bothered as this is very very old news and to be honest nobody gives a shit anymore and when im dealing with helping people who wish to buy and sell rs500"s they never even bother asking anymore

However i do feel this post is only a wind up to get a reaction hence why i will NOT waist any more time going over very old ground

Paul

ps, I own 3 rs500"s , 2 stamped up and 1 down , the one stamped down is a 1 owner from new car with all the original PDI stickers still on the boot floor
