Default Soft top insurance?

Went and test drove a couple of MX5 Roadsters yesterday with my lady friend. I think it's safe to say she's smitten by the car and she is really keen to throw her Corsa in the nearest canal (best place for it ) and sign on the dotted line. Had a few quotes but was wondering if anybody knew of anywhere specialist to get the price down as she's getting quotes of £700+ to insure a 2009 car.

Thanking you in advance

Try Norton Insurance mate. Just had them quote me on my MGB and came in about £150 lower than any other insurer at £128. I know its a classic car but they do everyday modern cars as well and I'm only 21 years old so well chuffed with that!!!

She's 38, held her liscense for about 6 years (lived in London so not much point in owning a car) 3 years NCB and one prang. Now lives in Tilbury and car is parked on roadside.

Probably sounds about right that. Soft top insurance is generally more dear. I take it you have been through price comparison sites? Confused.com always works the best for me.
