Default Car help please

I'm looking to buy a new motor in the next few weeks and was looking for a bit of advice.

I've got a budget of £5000 and would like a diesel, preferably something with a bit of power. 3 or 5 door but don't want an estate.

Any suggestions welcome

hi mate

sounds a strange choice but i went for a volvo s60 saloon.

2400cc 5cyl 20v 163bhp soooo comfortable and quicker than the VAG 19tdi

i stuck one of those powerclick boxes on it.... they claim 200 bhp and mountain of torque.. no idea on figs but it flys now.

140k miles. no smoke even with the tuning box on it and uses no oil..... and something different!

and lastly standard audio kit is superb! SE comes with dolby surround

Thanks mate, possibly a bit bigger than what i'm looking for.

Must say they're not a bad looking motor and are well kitted out.
