Engine - Whats it worth??
Without going into loads of detail, roughly whats my engine worth?
Either as just the Bottom End (Steel Rods etc), or complete with the Stg 3 Head/Cam/EFi Converted Manifolds Etc?? (but not the Turbo side of things). Its fairly fresh, having covered around 2000 miles since rebuild.
For those that don't know, its currently producing around 300bhp.
Don't want to start any kind of messy debate, just curious to know.

just finding my feet
christian i sold my engine, turbo management ect the whole lot except my boost controller for 3500
i payed a grand for my bottom end, 250 for the head and 350 for the cam and around 200 odd for various bit and peices
so i would say 2 grand would be a fair price imo

CheeRS everyone.
I think I would rather sell it as a complete lump, because the head is all bolted down and its been fantastic, I would hate to disturb it.
The Turbo/Manifold/Exhaust and some of the Ancillaries would not be included though.
I think if I were to do it, it would be :-
Complete Bottom End (inc Sump, Oil Pump, Water Pump)
Complete Head fitted to engine with Cam/Lifters/Springs/Stainless Valves etc etc)
Rocker Cover, Inlet Manifold, Cossie Throttle Body, Crossver Pipe all included too. The Inlet is EFi ready and uses a Standard RST Throttle Cable.
My little mind is ticking........
I have a little voice in my head telling me that 161.1mph just ain't fast enough. PMSL.
