Well its happened the cosworth brand is going back on a road car this time its o a scooby though next month there is going to be a new STI Impreza COSWORTH dark days indeed!!!!

SURE!!! Well it was gonna happen sooner or later. Out of interest what have they contributed? Who owns the brand now, last I knew ford owned cosworth racing and VAG owned Cosworth technolgy, or sumtin like that.

they have only released a press pic of the rear light with te STI and cosworth badge. I know Cosworth was bought over By GM as I worked with there casting division a few years back. Awesome set up. I think they have been given the free rein like prodrive did.

Havn't the scooby... and evo lot for that matter been using cosworth parts for quite some time now? Pretty sure they have, i cant see a cosworth badged sti being anything remotly special and certainly wont leave a legacy like it did with the old shonky fords.

I welded a test exhaust and cat for it the other day, was told its running about 400bhp. I'll try and find a little bit more about it this week and a sneaky photo

i think the new shape impreza looks bloody horrible. Cosworth should of stayed with ford.

tbh, in the real world most people in the street dont know what a cosworth is and fewer a ford sierra, but i bet most people know what a subaru is, so i think if this subaru cossy proves to be good, itl bring the old cossys back into the puplic eye.
