"Yes there's understeer, but on the open road you won't be going quick enough for that. And I'd wager this thing would be as much fun, and as quick, as a Ford Focus RS.
this is certainly the hot hatch for you - nothing else will come close to it on a circuit"
hope this helps

you not thinking so is just an opinion the fact the said car was quicker round bedford then the r26r shows it has the performance as for what the worlds motoring press say?? heres a little snippet from top gear

I would still prefer the megane for the blast down my favourite road as it has torque and is light

Even if that Honda was the best hatch ever, it doesnt take away that 95% of Honda's hatches are as dull as shit, the DNA doesnt extend down the range, not like with other manufacturers. IMO

I reckon Peugeot have had a tremendous history with hot hatch's until recent years. The 306 GTi-6 being pretty much the last hot hatch they produced of any note.

this isn't about the rest of the range though is it, once again its about one car now you start mentioning the whole range
and yes i would class the top gear magazine as motoring press

The French have to be high up the list. I've driven a 1.9 205 GTi and it was awesome as was the Clio Williams. Clio 172 Cup was wicked fun for a factory car as well.

Both the Zetec S/TDCI and ST versions of the MK6 handle brilliantly, never had as much fun. I think a lot of it in the Mk6 is to do with the driving position too... Ford got it right with this one.
