hi guys, so today i finally got my logbook through for my fiesta (brought on 08/2007) i phoned up DVLA 3 times since then requesting a logbook as i never received the original and they kept telling me within 4 weeks but never did till today. so i declared a SORN on my car and a message come up sayin i had commited an offence as there has been a gap! what a joke should never had botherd declaring it as im taxing it in 3 months lol

Why couldn't you have taxed it/SORNED it with the green new owner supplement slip you got when signed the V5 at time of purchase?

2007 till now to receive the log book, thats a joke I'd have been on the phone more than 3 times

unless the old owner has sent the log book off dvla would not send you a new one without you filling in a v62 to get a replacement no matter how many times you call them,i have had the same problem getting my log book so i filled in the form and recived 2 of the bloody things and then a letter thanking me for letting them know that i had sold the car to myself

i wrote to them on the 30th of spetember telling them i was sorning 1 car and had scraped 4 others
they sent me a etter for 2 of the cars but not for the other 3
so i wrote back
nothing
wrote back again
nothing
wrote back a 3rd time
nothing
then i got a letter saing i had failed to sorn the car i'd originally writtn in about and i had to pay a fine

so i've told them to get fucked

DVLA are a joke. you must send everything special delivery so they cant claim they didnt recieve it. if fines go to court then they look the idiot and loose when they cant explain how the letter which was signed for magically disapeared.
