Default Still No Spark On Cossie

Tried getting the bloody car to start for a week now after it being off the road for 5 months. Last sunday it fired up was a bit lumpy and ran lumpy for a few mins, then cut out and since then hav'nt been able to start it. The amal valve is clicking with the ignition is on, ive tried running a live from the battery to the coil still no spark, been told it could be the ignition amp or cps. How do i test if the ignition amp is working?

This happened with mine and it was the CPS. Drove it home, parked it up for a couple weeks and went to start it again and no spark.

how can you test the cps? it's magnetic is'nt it. so would it magnetise if i ran a bit of metal over it? also will the cps cause there to be no fuel and no spark?

just stick a CPS on it, worst case is you have a spare if it dosen't fix it, easiest thing to try without a fault reader!
