Default Help.. Anti roll bar rubber.

Evening all,

Need to replace the rubber on the S1 however everone i talk to or ask says they cant be bought. Anyone know of an upgrade or which rose joint i need.

Its the rubber thats at the front of the tie bar.

are you sure proflex dont do them or try ebay

I can get them made, but subject to minimum order/cost, as the die is CNC machined die blocks, which are bloody expensive on their own!!
Personally if you can't find it already done I'd rose joint it, just had 30 steering flexis made for sierra/cossie, even some coloured ones in poly, £30 a set(nuts/bolts/washers/joint bit).

I've checked powerflex and they def dont do them. Guess it'll have to be rose joint then.

rose joint will be simple
just take the old one along to a compnay and se which one matches it

I got a bit mixed up here with the picture/description.
You are after anto roll bar rubbers, that secure the arb to the car, in which case, I'd be 101% amazed if others didn't fit, do the existing numbers not have anything written on them.
Or is this not the part you are meaning ?
For anyone wanting unusual size poly bushes, depending on size shape they can be made diy, buy some poly bar, freeze it overnight, then you have about 15 minutes to machine it in lathe etc to size needed, if it suits the shape etc you want.
