hi does anyone know where l can acquire a vin tag from as l've lost the one for my 3dr cosworth thanx !

You can get them from ford mate, they just need id and v5 iirc, takes a couple of weeks for them to come through.

What do you mean "I've lost it?" It's riveted to the slam panel - did it just get up and walk off one day because it fancied a change of scenery? :cry:

you must be bored mate, but i'll tell yah any way, i took it off to paint the whole front end, as the car was looking a little shabby:cry:, then months late realised the vintag is not on the car then looked around and couldnt find it:wall:, the scenery around the car is beautiful :ban-split:so l wouldnt ave thought its gone for walk, however even if it did it wont get far as it has no legs:top:. l really hope this has answered your query cheers!!!!:king:

I'm disappointed by the honest answer, i was hoping for a far fetched story about how the VIN tag fell off, and then someone accidentally dropped a grinder beside the plate on the floor. :cry:
