great guy for getting involved. Hope this doesn't put anyone off helping. Just make sure you then stay and help the victim. Don't risk leaving your own children fatherless running after a few quid or 'the principal' of the mugging. Its SOOO sad... but thats the state of the world we live in.

Brave guy, 20 years ago you couldnt fault his actions but sadly the police/government have failed to get a grip of the knife culture leading to tragedys like this!

Because I genuinely would love to see how he would react to this, as even he must admit the guy is a true british hero in the purest sense of the term hero, risking and losing his life to stand up for someone weaker who he didnt even know, so I would love to see how NG struggles to come to terms with trying to accept that at the same time as out of hand dismissing him as an immigrant who should be sent home.
I really would love to get inside the mind of a racist over someone like this who so clearly deserves a place in our society, as I personally cant imagine being so hateful and bigotted that I could be so blind and stupid as a result.

Chip, thanks for apology but no offence was taken. Mr Singh although an immigrant originally, is prob a British Citizen now and should be treated so. I have the upmost respect for any migrant coming here, earning a living and often creating work for other Brits as I would assume takes big balls to do so.

I just thought that it would have been wiser just to bite your tongue for 5 mins and keep politics out of such a tragic death as most have!!!

Same reason so many youths resort to knives these days. its the cowards choice. why bother growing a backbone and earning respect for yourself when you can just pick up a knife and make people fear you instead. (notice how lots of people thesedays confuse fear and intimidation with respect!!) and if they don't "respekt" you innit bruv (ie they arent scared and stand up to you) then you stab them to show them why they should fear you. and if they die its not your fault but thiers because they "diidnt show no respeckt so i had to show em".
