Can't believe it. Got up early as I knew it was bad.
Can't get my car out the space at home. It's on the most slight of inclines but the bloody thing just won't move. After almost 3/4 of an hour trying to reverse out the hole I thought "Fuck it!" and have come back in for a coffee.
Today I shall be working from home
I wouldn't mind but I had no problem getting out the space last night when I went and met up with some of the guys from a club to play silly buggers

Still can't move my sodding car
It's so powdery what's sitting on the ice it just compacts down and the car sits on top of it. Looks like everybody has attempted to get out then given up.

dont you own a shovel, or anything else you can use to scrape the ice away?
it comes off pretty easy and you only need about 3 foot get traction.
i got stuck twice yesterday in my 2 ton citroen dispatch, managed 110 miles from worthing to reading services as i had to stop for a shit, and then got properly stuck trying to help someone else. had to be pulled out with a 4x4 lol. anyway my front bumper splash guard dug in and as i was pulled out backwards.
that had to be cut off with a hacksaw blade and was a right cunt.
i later then used said peice of plastic to dig the snow as i made it 3/4 of the way up a hill and got stuck again. soon got out tho.
this morning as i got home last night, i packed a shovel and pair of gloves!
managed to get through reading with 12" of snow there, to wokingham, alton, newbury and back to swindon. not a bad effort.
the van did see some propper handbrake abuse today tho
