ha ha what are you like. Not another car. Is the saff still going ok mate.
The heated rear screen should be fine if your carefull.Peel off the film on the inside first.Easier on a warm day as its not brittle (or get the car nice and warm inside first) Then with the layer left underneath either thinners carefully or t&g remover will get the glue off with a blade.
Too many posts.. I need a life!!
do not use a blade anywhere near the rear heating element , use a heatgun to warm the tint on the heated rear them pull the tint of slowly. You will probably have glue residue still on the window so get some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray the window the glue should turn white ish then use very fine wirewool to remove the glue .
if you use thinners you can end up spreading the glue all over the place.
for the side windows use a heatgun to warm the tint peel the tint off, spray the glue residue with soapy water then use a single edge blade the ones with the alumium strip (not a stanley blade) to gently remove the glue

Tell the seller you will only buy with the tints removed, simples
right ive got the tint off, but left a horrible sticky glue residue, any ideas how to get it off??
PassionFord Post Whore!!
there is a "adhesive remover" in a blue bottle that is excellent for removing residue left from stickers/tints! ill see if i can find out the make for ya....
ok i cant find it lol but ya local motor factors will have it, its only a few quid but it does the job!
