i really love the snow but it has just taken me 2hours and 10 mins to travel 4 miles home from work FFS :-(

It's just taken my wife 4 hours to do maybe 7 miles to her parents because she can't get back home The snow is so bad here that the town is gridlocked (

watford to chorleywood = 3hrs 30 in car (8 miles) then walked last mile as i gave up

where the fuck were the grit lorries

Took my girlfriend 2 hours to do 3 miles, Some poor soda beemer at the top of the road is gettin smashed all round the place, Where have the gritters been in hertfordshire, the weather man siad it would snow!!!

was raining in watford most the afternoon until around 4pm when it turned to snow

batchworth hill in rickmansworth just had a dusting but was littered with failed attempts of people trying to climb it and the police were turning people around.
i asked the copper directing the traffic "where are the grit lorries" he just shrugged

its a joke! four and a half hours to get from welwyn to watford! complete grid lock all the way! no grit anywhere again!

think of me im in my spec lift recovery truck lifitng cars, so the fronts getting lighter, done 4 today not too bad but heavy snow this afternoon its gona be awfull moro and i gotta move 3 cars by 12 lol

getting winter tires are well worth it would save lives and a hole lot of trouble !!and can get them without studs we drive in the snow for over 5 months a year the ice tires are great on the frozen lakes too

gritters wont run on really icy roads due to health and safety yet they are the very roads that need gritting!

Plus most councils have cut back on gritting stockpiles and gritting runs due to shortage of money!!

This country is a joke!
