Default Traction control yes/no?

which is the best,in snow ,t/c on or off???? i find it goes up hill best with it off! what is the general oppinion!

Depends on how the system works, there are lots of different systems. I do fine with my right foot and welded diff.

turn it off, if its anything like the focus system then it does go anywhere and a orange light flashes at you,

its a 2.5 cougar same set up as the mondys, first car ive had with t/c, so not sure of rite use of tecnology!

i find it is a pain in the arse, i always got round in old cars without it and dont really have no need for it now

The one in Mondeos/Cougars is pants! It's basically only a servo on the throttle body adjusting power fed by the data of the ABS sensors.

TC on modern cars with ESP is much better because it actually uses the brakes to slow down certain wheels and act like an LSD.
