Default E bay, i sent something and buyer says only bits have turned up

I sold a holley carb in bits for a marine V8 engine it was all there just in bits butterflys seized, all was written well in advert,
also i sent a re build kit with it all tapped up in a big jiffy bag.
just had e mail from the buyer saying that the jiffy was broken and some bits including the repair kit was missing.
I didnt insure it when posting as it only sold for £10
if I get him to send back whats left and refund him how do I know that he just didnt want a repair kit and will keep that and send the other bits back? or is it just one of those things

Just one of those things. Probably trying to scam you out of £10. If he didn't pay for insured postage then it was up to him. I make sure I send everything I sell on ebay special delivery now, more expensive for the buyer but helps you stop being scammed!

I got a set of st170 springs if you are interested? Will lower it about 20-25mm ish. I don't want anything for them as they are just in the way! Just pay for the courier and they are yours!
