Tis cheaper in France than the Uk and cheaper still in Belgium.
I used to pop up to Adinkirke to get a bit of baccy before i headed home and while i was there i would fill up. I worked it out once that the saving over the Uk prices would cover me from Belgium right back to my house in Kent.
Just pop a Jerry can in your boot and say nothing, tis what i used to do.
Get some fags or baccy while you are in belgium as well as they sell the proper weight up there , just remember to get the recipt in case Customs pull you

hi there
due to the high euro for you guys at the moment there's not alot of difference wheter you get fuel in the uk or france or belgium the only thing i know is that if your driving a mid-tuned to high tuned car use octane booster because in belgium the fuel is rated at 95ron and 98ron but isnt (95 is only 93 and 98 is only 95)
and for the jerry cans if the customs search your car and see it you'l have to leef them behind
greets from belgium

Theres no real difference
Yes we are slightly more expensive.
But the euro rate and general inflation in France and Belgum have pushed up prices as far as we are concerned.
Also dont forget the fuel and fuel tax are slightly cheaper, but its all relative as they have Toll roads.
The only saving you will see is like you say if you fill up at the ports on your way home. but even then were only talking a few £'s.
Tobaco is about the only thing cheaper now.
The hypermarches are dead over there, I was theres last in june and the drink, fags and spirits are actually cheaper back here in sainsburys

We've done trackdays at spa for the last god knows how many years, on the main motorway which takes you to Spa (e42 from memory), about 7 miles from spa, is a massive long climb (the killer for the tow cars), at the top of this hill is a massive shell station, where we all fuel up the track cars/cans etc etc.
Once your in Spa, nearest shell station is in Malmady, about 5 minutes down the road.
Circuit fuel is quite expensive as well LOL
