I use to run my gti on 2.0 and a 2.2 lol i need volume when doing big stuff .
Ive still got some bits led around in my box at work , a few fluid tips and air caps i think unless ive chucked them as i dont use them anymore .
And i know ive got the top half of the gun hung up , its got a few bits missing though but it hasnt been used for years .
Will clean them up tomoz and see just what bits ive got ...

Take it you are talking about refinishing the bonnet after painting it, I de-nib with 1200, then 1500 on the DA then 3000 Trizact on the DA.

1500 on a orby then, doesnt get hot or sand through to easily thyen?? theres nothing more annoying than a bit of shit in it or even on one or more occasion a pube sat in the clear coat
i was pondering weather to look for a smaller sander that i can get 1500 pads for etc bit like what the smart guys use i guess
only been doing it few years but learning with every job i do, repair a fair bit of salvage now for myself its all a learning curve, my mate wont even paint metalics lol
my biggest mistake is heat i hardly ever use it and on the odd occasion i do get a run if ive not left it enough between coats, or ill just dust it over one last bit incase theres any dry bits ive missed, 5 minutes later a run lol.
however fish eyes are a very rare occasion for me, just bits of shit int he top coat but they flat out, and in the shitty workshop i have got to be expected, water on floor helps a lot tho
