I had a set of 17x7 MO's. On standard suspension they caught the archs. The Rs turbo arches do tuck in a fair bit tho. Personally I think 17 is to big on an rst. I prefer a wider set of 16's

will 99% handle like a pig. I think 15-17 is ideal. 16" is a good option. 18" and 19" ???? that would look and drive like an absolute pig!

it will follow ruts in the road, suspension will have to be very stiff so you feel everything.

Tyres will have to be very low profile causing Front to slide even more than am rs turbo does anyway.

Rediculous wheelspin in wet.

Oh and it will look chavvy and shit.

17s are fine on an rs turbo no need for 18s mate.

215/35/18!!! you will have to cut, roll and pull the arches for wheels that big!! i should also think a set of stiffened shocks and std hieght springs would be in order to prevent any scrubbing.

It won't handle "shite" but it won't handle as well as it would with smaller wheels. As has been said it will tramline more, and the ride will be poor. But if YOU like the look of them, and YOU want them on your car then go for it!

You will need to do a fair bit of arch work, and the wheels will need to be the right offset, otherwise you'll need spacers (queue more haters!).

Just go with 16x7.5j and actually ENJOY driving it...

Fairplay if you really want 18's but you're just butchering the setup even with standard suspension.

I've run 16x8 and 17x7, did rub occasionally with both but the 16's felt so planted and it actuallly struggled to light up the wheels with a ZVH.

Agree 16x7j is what I would go with on a s2.

My RS 7's which are 17" x 7.5J wide running 205/40 tyres feel fine to drive with and don't catch the arches but they correct offset has a lot to do with it. Obviously 15's and 16's do feel better plus I've seen 18's on an S2 and they looked horrid IMO!!

On the right car they can look good IMO but the ride height has to be spot on to carry it off. The Ford scene in general avoided the massive wheel look that so many scenes embraced. Once you've experienced a Saxo on 20s you've not lived *shudder*
