rite looking for a bit of info here rite i have got a escort cab mk7 1.6 zetec rite heres the story its got a missifre so i took it off the road now i took out the throttle body inj rail and wires and took off the inlet and starter and gave said inlet rail and idle control v a good clean now my starter gave up the ghost so i left the car now that i have abit of time on my hands i went and got a recon starter but i cant rem where the red lead from the alt gos to i know its the starter but what pin lol is it to the red main on the starter id take it as theres only 2 pins 1 is thick red and 1 is on a small pin thats black and red. now any info would be gratefull as i have a lad that got all the parts that i said and they have came from a ok non misfire engine and i need to get back to him asap but want to make sure it wasnt just shit in 1 of the parts hence refit and try be fore i buy lol.

thick red one fella starter should have been supplied with a loose nut and washer where it goes the red and black wire is the crank wire direct from the ignition
