Default ISO files, what to do??

I have an ISO file, I now need to make it into a bootable disc.

Do I just burn it to CD and thats it?

could you download magic iso then create a virtual cd rom and use the iso in there to open up the file. I have done this previously with Ford TIS

Burn it as an ISO yes, dont burn the actual ISO as a file to the CD.

If you have Nero or something similar, it will handle it for you.

Yep as above, or download Daemon tools, its free and you can install without a CD.
Basically it virtually mounts the image file so you wont have an issue installing without a cd.

I did look to see if you were online or else I would have PM'd you. I've downloaded Daemon now, I take it that will do it as mentioned above?

Busy all day and right to the gym afterwards so I'm just snatching a bit of time here and there today lol

Not sure about daemon though Christian, never used it to do this. I would go with the nero burning rom, it'll do the hard work for you.

With daemon you could run the image from a virtual drive which would install on the existing hard drive but you need a clean install, Nero will make an ISO image and burn that as opposed to burning the files as you see them in explorer.

Sorry to leave you in the lurch fella but I need to go back out again, got your msn so if your really stuck (you wont be though) ill get you tomorrow.

Sorted, looks like Daemon did it. It's now on CD. Just popping out for a while, then when I get back, I'll have a go at doing this HD install.

IMGburn FTW

Daemon tools will NOT work, as it emulates the ISO image as a bootable drive within windows ONLY
