this is baffling me,

how do i get my pc display and sound to come out of my tv, as well as the pc.

my pc has an av option for a pc

what do i need ???

You need a DVI cable mate, check your graphics card to see if you have a DVI interface first, its just a bit wider than the usual monitor output and the terminals are assymetrical.

You also need a phono cable (pair, red and white) for the sound and away you go!

You might have a single phono output on the back of the graphics card btw if so then you can just use the two audio's and the video phono outputs and they will connect directly to the corrosponding inputs on your telly

dvi to hdmi cable.....will that do the trick ?

My TV has an input, but I still needed a pc to tv cable for the audio.... you can find them on ebay and they just look like an earphone to earphone lead..

check what inputs your TV has, and what outputs your PC has, and get a cable that goes between

normally a vga or dvi cable for picture and a jack to phono for sound
