who works for bentley?
just trying to figure out some prblems with the gt, 04 plate
1 key workm 1 key doesn't
the key that works though brings up a message on the display saying that it needs to be workshoped, with a key display onit
the tyre pressure monitor also don't work, but it says that it's not currently operational
and the rear windows won't close properly
we've figured out how to close the bonnet, and oepn the boot lid, but we are missing a disc that it says we need, and seeing there is a bill for £1700 for the last service, it's sort of something that doens't really want repeating
so please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks

it's my mates car, but i've been given free reign to do with it what i want while he's aborad
he came back the other week and we were messing about and all the things mentoined started to go wrong
so, remembering that someone here worked for bentley i thought i'd ask, even though there is a dealer just down the road, literaly 10 minutes walk, just to see if there was a problem that was easily resolvable and not have to spend hundres of £ on looking at other things
but the general consensus is that the car has forgotten the keys and it just needs to relearn which ones they are so it doesn't seem to be a difficult fix
thanks to all who have helped out

PassionFord Post Whore!!
this might sound daft,
but a lot of time for cars to remember keys there is s simple fix.
put the key in the drivers/passenger door/ignition and you have to turn the key while pressing the unlock button.
or something like that.
ive had it a couple of times, just holding the unlock button and turning the key in the passenger door lock and it fixed itself.
worth a try

But. we then decided to take the battery off to charge it properly, after 10 mins of trying to remove it, we gave up and ran an extension lead over to the car for the charger
