Triumph Herald, Triumph Dolomite Sprint, absoloutely mint! Now and again i see a blue 4 door mk2 escy, theres a low spec mk1 golf in reasonable nick near me. A moggy minor sits in a garden near me, fenced in now, doesnt look like its moved for years. Theres a Mk2 escy in someones garage nearby that you see when its open, its covered in crap but its mint.

One thing i haven't seen for years that i saw the other day - a scimitar,

Also how rare are Mk1 sierras now? Saw a low spec one on some ridiculous alloys the other day.

There's a few round here, often see something when I'm out and about. Got a Series 2 up the road, Rover 2000 and Scimitar round the corner, seen a couple of mk3 Cortinas around, mk2 escort 4 door parks down the road, various Golf's etc, and seen a mk2 Cavalier convertible in town a few months ago.

a Triumph herald estate, with a pensioner and his wife with her wheelchair in the back allways.

my cortina, my orion.

theres a 190 merc cosworth up the road, does that count? i dont know how old is "old"

not many classics about anymore! maybe its cos we didn't have much of a summer again but you always used to see truimphs around, old escorts and 'tinas. the odd granny.

infact i cant remember the last time i saw a mk2 astra! or a mk4 escort. even the mk5's are getting rarer.

Loads around here, 205, astra gte, v8 2cv6, sierra cossie(apart from mine) xr4i(dads), old minis, rover 100, alvis, armstrong siddely, jenson interceptor, hillman hunter, morris marina(one of my faves), shed loads more.
I've also seen a 27 litre rover round here, f**k it was noisy, people will know it from PPC(charlie) plus loads of other cars going to rolling road, as I pass there many times a day.
My mate has about 30 reliant robbins, and a bond bug, other reliants as well, as he is a reliant garage.
Lots of kit cars too.
I must admit I do like the older stuff, especially 70's, early 80's.

I'm exactly the same, old cars just stand out so much more than modern stuff. Especially if they are in mint condition. A mint condition old car is so much cooler than a brand new car

The only stuff I see around Liverpool, generally speaking is old BMWs. My neighbour has an E plate 520, and I regularly see 2 or 3 nice E30 BMW's. Saw a lovely old Rover SD1 the other day but don't know if it's local. Oh and a few nice old Mercedes too.

I guess all the old Fords/Vauxhalls got stolen and burnt many years ago

Today I saw a Rover 100, Pontiac Fiero, VW camper splitscreen, plus numerous older austins, morris's, rovers.
They were all securely parked up where me caravan lives, all on CCTV, with 24 hr security, continuous recorded, and some mean looking dogs.

There's a guy in inverkeillor that buys old shitters and turns them into showcars then breaks them or sells them.

He's a had a good few fords... don't think the boy is right.

Said he was buying my motocross bike but don't think its in bad enough condition...was hoping he'd buy it, get it running then i was going to buy it back.

clever sod.. you know nothing, its a ex tin top race car, full spec with msa logbook, an the cage is not a half cage its a full cage, doors and everything. and its 150bhp at the flywheel, not at the wheels, the flywheel. i had a go at someone on here yesterday for opening there mouth before knowing the facts. this site would have a lot more members if it didnt have people like you on here, taking the piss because someones car is not to the standard of yours. like i said to them, this site is called www.passionford.com for all ford owners regardless of what ford it is.. and one more thing, you own a bmw, wheres the ford in your profile. not that theres anything wrong with bm's.

Theres a few old classics around my way but rarely see

Bro's mate has a mint capri brooklands

Other than that theres a few old 205 gti's

Living in a seaside town the cars dont wear too well and all rust away quite quickly

some very modern cars rusting quickly in this town that never normally have rust

so fords dont last long

cant decide what to do with my money!just now im wasting it on a v6 nova track car.going to put the rest towards an escos at the start of springtime next year.im waiting till your wife makes you sell the bike for pennys to pay for that nursery.might take your cos too if its cheap enough asnd do a nut and bolt resto on it,then sell you it back for less!
