Default Welding Courses

Hi all.
Want some advice, some many know I was made reduntant last week and well I want something new and well payed, been thinking bout doing a welding course for a while just so i can do work to my car. but now Im thinking as a career. Is it a good idea plowing the last of my money into a welding cousre, or would I end up still not having much luck getting a job, as I ahve been thinking bout finishing my HGV training, but the cost of it is a big gamble as no one want to put wagons on the road with the high cost of fuel.

welding is a great skill to learn, and very valuable if you enjoy your old fords. but i wouldnt say it was well payed, i imaging HGV driving is a little more lucrative

Job centre will only help pay if there is a definite job at the end of it
