vehicle scrap value?
 

im thinking of wieghing in a 320 e36 i bought and stripped out to be a track car but have no interest in it, should i clear a £100 from a scrappy?

No chance, at least not down here!
Estates and similar big stuff struggles to get 50 quid. I think the scrap boom is over.:sad:

I got £49 for an Escort Shell a couple of weeks ago.

round here its about £90 a ton at the min

I heard scrap price has gone up again, wasnt that long ago my mates were gettin £250 for a old micra

i phoned up and they said £80 which is crap as isnt a bad car.

I'd be off buying them up for 50 quid a piece from the back of the local rag - then phoning Mr scrapman right away!
£250 is what I usually pay for my daily hack around.

£65 a ton just now up here. for some reason every car and van ive scrapped always weighs 1150kg. its a strange co incidence

the most ive cleared was £165 for an escort.

i weight in a sapphire shell the other week £17.50 got for it. price is going down at the moment.
